Girl
Scout Council of the Mid-South depends on generous and
faithful gifts to provide programs designed to promote
leadership development, self confidence, teamwork and
strong values in girls.
In Girl
Scouts, girls learn by doing and they are encouraged to
expand their horizons and develop skills that will make
them effective leaders. They build meaningful friendships
and are supported by nurturing adults who take the time to
get to know and encourage them.
Imagine
what it feels like when a Brownie Girl Scout asks her
first customer to buy a box of Girl Scout cookies. What
courage it takes to head off to campin the woods.away
from home.for the first time. Imagine what it feels like
to stand in front of 900 other teen Girl Scouts and voice
your opinion on an issue that you believe is important.
From
the first simple steps to the biggest leaps, girls are
developing their identity, strengthening their value
system and becoming leaders. They are developing their
courage, confidence and character, and are already making
the world a better place.
We need
your generous support so we can continue to provide the
wide variety of services that will keep Girl Scouting an
attractive option for volunteers, girls and their families
throughout our 10-county area. With your help we will be
able to meet our commitment to serving all girls.
