The Girl Scout Movement has always depended on active adult
volunteers to provide the Girl Scout Leadership
Development Program to its membership. Parents,
neighbors, relatives, friends, former Girl Scouts, and
any other adults who wish to help todays girls grow
into competent, resourceful women, are encouraged to
become Girl Scout volunteers. Adults may choose to work
directly with the girls or support adult volunteers
through various positions.
No matter what your skills or interests may be, there is a
place for you in Girl Scouting. Discover the different
ways adults can get involved. Consider how you can
enhance your own Girl Scout experience. Invite someone
you know to join us and make a difference in the lives
of girls. We cant do it without you and neither can the
girls!
As
a Girl Scout adult volunteer, you can choose:
-
The amount
of time you want to spend
-
The people
you enjoy working with the most - girls or adults
-
The skills
you want to develop, enhance or share

The
activities you enjoy
-
