...it's life skills for a lifetime. The Girl Scout
cookie activity is much more than simply a way for the troop to earn money. It’s a girl program that
teaches business and economic
literacy and enhances the Girl
Scout Leadership Development
Program.
The
cookie activity is a unique way
for girls to:
- Learn
the power of goal setting
- Develop
self confidence
- Work
as a team toward a goal
- Learn
early business skills
Even if parents are willing to pay more dues instead of supporting the Girl Scout Cookie
Sale, help them to see the importance of letting their girls participate
.
Many women business leaders say they got their start selling Girl Scout Cookies. |
