The
Girl Scouts Book Club
Girl
Scouts is committed to engaging girls in the fun, mystery,
and excitement of exploring
new books, especially when read together with a group of
friends.
The
new Girl Scouts Book Club challenges girls to start
reading a new book that can help them discover a new
culture, language, or people. Some books take young
readers to a new country or a place that doesnt exist
at all. The readers imagination will be the director,
the book is her script, and she can become any character
shed likethe part is hers.
The
first Girl Scouts Book Club choice is The Lion, the Witch
and the Wardrobe, from C. S. Lewis seven-book series,
The Chronicles of Narnia.
