Girl Scout Kamp Kiwani is a unique and
wonderful place where girls explore nature and grow to
love the out-of-doors. They build lasting friendships,
leave with memories they will always treasure and
discover how fearless they really are. Girls wont want
to miss this special chance to make new friends, build
and cook over an open fire, funyak in Lake Okalowa, get
wild or just chill with other Girl Scouts.
Resident camp is open to all girls who will
be entering grades 2-12 in fall 2008. All currently registered Girl Scouts in grades 1-11 were mailed a resident camp brochure on March 10, please allow up to 14 days for delivery.
All Girl Scouts are encouraged to consider attending resident camp this summer. There is limited financial aid available for any girl interested in attending resident camp. Girls and parents can choose from four, seven, or 14 day sessions. Girls can even sign up with a buddy.
For those not yet ready for
the resident camp experience, we have Kamp
Kiwani Crazy Days. Leaders who want to take their troop
camping, but are not comfortable going on their own can
take advantage of Troop Camping with Core Staff options.
More information about these options will be described
in the brochure. There is something for everyone to
enjoy at Girl Scout
Kamp
Kiwani.
