Troop Camp
with Core Staff
If you or
your daughter are not quite ready for the resident camp
experience and her Girl Scout troop experience has not
included any or much camping opportunity; a wonderful
solution might be for the troop to sign up for what we
call Troop Camp with Core Staff. This is an ideal option
for troops that could benefit from having experienced help
to assist them with outdoor skills and activities. Our
trained and certified waterfront and first aide camp staff
will be on site to provide step by step guidance while
offering the extra nudge of confidence and encouragement.
They are ready, willing, and able to provide assistance
with, design and lead program activities and meal support
to enhance your outdoor experience. You will be able to
select from meals in the dining hall or those cooked over
an open fire. Activity choices include small or large
group activities, archery, swimming, crafts, canoeing,
funyaking or a trip to the gullies.
Multiple
troops may be assigned to the same unit depending on the
troop size and unit capacity. Adults and camp unit staff
may sleep in the same unit if necessary. Adult cabins are
in close proximity to the girls cabins.
In order
to Troop Camp with Core Staff, a troop must have five or
more girls and a minimum of two adults. Troops are
