Girl Scout Cookie Program - It's Really About the Girls

Since 1917, the Girl Scout cookie activity has become a famous annual event that has helped girls develop important leadership skills they will use throughout their lives.  Whether they are dreaming of becoming a doctor, teacher, businesswoman, president of the PTA, or superstar athlete, the Girl Scout Cookie Program gives them the self-esteem they need to reach for the stars.

Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls, ages 6-17, manage inventory, set goals, learn money management, and develop marketing skills. Essentially, the girls run their own business. The entire troop sets a goal and follows a plan leading toward that goal. Girl Scout troops use funds from the cookie activity to fund a service project or to plan for an exciting trip. Many successful women have credited their business skills to the Girl Scout Cookie Program, making it the premier business and economic literacy program for girls in the United States.

Locally, girls take orders for Girl Scout cookies from January 5-23. Deliveries and booth sales will be February 15 - March 2. The price is $3.50 per box.

We are offering two new cookies to the cookie line-up. Our Sugar Free Chocolate Chip has all of the taste, none of the sugar! Its a classic favorite with real chocolate chips. The Lemon Chalet Cremes are the height of lemon flavor! This delicious vanilla sandwich has a hint of ginger and cinnamon spice and a refreshing zesty lemon creme filling.  All varieties of Girl Scout cookies have zero grams of trans fat per serving.

2008 Girl Scout Cookie Booth Locations

Girl Scout troops will be conducting booth sales on weekends from February 15 � March 2.  Below is a list of confirmed cookie booth locations by town and/or zip code.  This is not a complete list, nor can we guarantee Girl Scouts will be at every location every weekend. You can typically find Girl Scouts in front of neighborhood grocery stores, retail stores, movie rental stores and other locations.
